ScanFlow AI Privacy Policy

Information processed by the app

ScanFlow AI may process documents you scan with the camera, images you import from Photos, PDF files you import, OCR text extracted from your documents, thumbnails, categories, favorites, trash, reminders, and document metadata.

Local storage

Scanned documents, imported PDFs, thumbnails, OCR text, categories, favorites, trash, and reminders are stored locally on your device.

OCR and document analysis

Text recognition runs on your device using Apple frameworks. OCR text is not sent to external servers by ScanFlow AI.

Camera and Photos

Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a document.

Photo library access is used only when you choose to import images from Photos.

Notifications

If you set a document reminder, ScanFlow AI may schedule a local notification on your device. Reminder data is stored locally.

Pro Validation Mode

ScanFlow AI does not have active in-app purchases or subscriptions yet. Some Pro tools may show an “I’m interested in Pro” button to measure interest before payments are enabled.

That button sends an anonymous interest signal to /api/scanflow/pro-interest. No personal data is requested.

The event may include app version, build, language, and date/time. It is not used for advertising or tracking across apps.

Third-party sharing

When you choose to share or export a document, the selected file may be handled by iOS share sheet destinations you select. Those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data collection

ScanFlow AI does not include external analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
