Data processed locally
The app may process scanned documents, imported photos, imported PDFs, thumbnails, OCR text, and metadata such as title, category, folder, favorite status, pages, size, dates, and reminders.
Local storage
Documents, OCR, and metadata remain on the device. ScanFlow AI does not upload your documents or OCR text to external servers.
OCR
Text recognition runs on the iPhone using Apple frameworks. OCR text is not sent to external servers.
Camera, Photos, and Files
Camera access is used only to scan documents when you choose it.
Photos access is used only to import images when you choose it.
Files access is used only to import PDFs when you choose it.
Notifications
If you create reminders, ScanFlow AI may schedule local notifications on the device.
Pro Validation Mode
When you tap “I’m interested in Pro”, the app may send an anonymous first-party signal to https://joseromero.me/api/scanflow/pro-interest to measure interest before payments are enabled.
The fields sent are: event, appVersion, build, language, and timestamp.
The signal does not include documents, OCR text, email, or personal identifiers. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking across apps.
Sharing and export
If you share or export a PDF, the iOS share sheet destinations you choose have their own policies.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
ScanFlow AI does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising, or tracking across apps. The app may send a first-party anonymous signal when you tap “I’m interested in Pro” to measure interest before payments are enabled.
